From the shop floor to the boardroom
The retail floor
My first job was as ground staff at Mumbai airport, while I was still in college. My first real lessons in selling came on the shop floor at Giordano. I started as a junior sales associate and worked my way up to store manager. That is where I learned to read a customer before they speak, to handle an objection face to face, and to run a team that sells.
From retail to recruitment
From Giordano I moved to Landmark Group and then AG Enterprise. After that came recruitment and HR consulting, with Gravity Recruitment, Najtar HR Consultancy, Gravity Recruitment again, and Connect Resources. Retail taught me how people buy. Recruitment taught me how people decide who to trust. Both still shape how I build brands.
Founding Digitizer
In 2020, I founded Digitizer Marketing Management in Deira, Dubai: one team for performance marketing, SEO, social media, web development, photo and video, influencer marketing and branding, working for brands in the UAE and across the GCC.
